Demi Lovato Speaks Out Against Bullying
Disney actress Demi Lovato is speaking out against bullying. The "Camp Rock" star is asking fans to sign an online petition in order to take a stand against bullying. She's partnering with the Pacer's National Center for Bullying Prevention and says the subject hits close to home because she was bullied in school. Lovato says while she was affected in school by "verbal harassment," the larger bullying problem facing kids today is cyber bullying. She says she now tells other kids to deal with the problem by pouring their energy into something they love. Lovato wants teenagers to visit TeensAgainstBullying.org to sign a petition there and to learn more about prevention. Her latest project is the Disney film "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam," which premiered on the mouse network last week. The DVD is also now in stores. [[Twitter quote is verbatim]]
