Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift Attend Weekend Notre Dame Game
Country-pop singer Taylor Swift and actress-singer Selena Gomez may be good luck for the Notre Dame football team. According to PerezHilton.com, the two stars attended a weekend game at the school against Purdue. Notre Dame won with a final score of 23-to-12. Swift's brother, Austin, is a freshman at the college. The singer reportedly asked to sit in the student section of the stadium with her brother, but college officials thought it would be a "safer" idea for the chart-topper to cheer on the Fighting Irish from the sidelines.
Swift's latest single, "Mine," is currently sitting at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. It's from her upcoming album, "Speak Now," which arrives in stores October 25th. |
