Michael Franti & Spearhead Set Sail With Zac Brown Band
Michael Franti & Spearhead are back on land after spending their Labor Day weekend sailing with country's Zac Brown Band. The two groups were part of the Sailing Southern Ground cruise in the Caribbean which met some rainy weather between Tampa, Florida and Grand Cayman. In a new video posted at MichaelFranti.com, the singer-songwriter says, quote, "There are some category two and three hurricanes that are brewing out there somewhere." Musician Zach Daniels from Oakhurst joined Franti and Spearhead onstage to play his banjo during their set. Franti also brought out an 87-year-old woman to dance with him as his band played. He says, quote, "If there was one wish I could have for the whole world, it would be that when all of us turn 87, we were doing this exact same thing right here." |
