Singer Beyonce Retains Father As Manager
Singer Beyonce is keeping her father on as her manager. Her spokesperson tells JustJared.com, quote, "Contrary to false rumors online, Beyonce and her manager, Mathew Knowles, unequivocally have had and continue to have a close personal and business relationship. Mathew Knowles is the sole and exclusive manager of Beyonce." Rumors had been circulating online that Beyonce's husband, rapper Jay-Z, may be stepping in to take the reigns of her career. In a list released in July by "Forbes" magazine, the singer was named the highest paid celebrity under age 30. Last year, Beyonce made an estimated 87-million dollars between her music career, Dereon fashion line, and endorsements with companies like L'Oreal. |
