Heart's Back This Week With "Red Velvet Car"
One of the music business' "sister acts" is back this week with a new studio album. Sony Legacy released Heart's "Red Velvet Car" on Tuesday. It's the first studio album from Ann and Nancy Wilson in six years. The project features music that Mikael Wood of "The Los Angeles Times" describes as "strong." Wood further states, quote, "Rare is the band doing work this good at such an advanced age; rarer still is the band doing it, as Heart does on 'Red Velvet Car,' without employing a sober return-to-roots approach." "Red Velvet Car" is available now.
In related news, Heart is continuing to play their hits on the road through the end of the year. The band's playing the DTE Energy Center in Clarkston, Michigan on Friday, September 3rd. |
