Kid Rock's New Album To Be Released In November, Will Feature Crow, T.I.
Rap-rocker Kid Rock has set a release date for his new album, "Born Free." MTV.com reports the record will be released on November 16th and will feature a hefty list of collaborators. Singer Sheryl Crow, rapper T.I., and fellow Detroit rocker Bob Seger are all making guest appearances on the album. Even country singers Zac Brown and Trace Adkins are offering up their vocals. Kid Rock says his hometown of Detroit was a catalyst for "Born Free." He says, quote, "Watching everything go downhill over the past few years, the economy, the loss of jobs everywhere, I wanted to make a record that reflected the times but that still had soul."
Rock's first single will be the album's title track. Fans can expect an "Americana" sound for the record, which will not bear a parental advisory sticker. |
