Country Stars To Announce Select Nominees For CMA Awards Today
Some of the nominees for the 44th annual Country Music Association Awards will be unveiled today. Chris Young, Justin Moore, and Steel Magnolia will be taking part in a press conference at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium to announce select hopefuls. Young and Moore will name the contenders in seven music categories, while Steel Magnolia will name the finalists for the event's broadcasting honors. The two-day announcement will continue on Wednesday. Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert will make a special appearance on ABC's "Good Morning America" during the 8:30 a.m. segment to finish revealing the nominees. Later Wednesday morning, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern, CMT will present "CMT Insider Special Edition: 2010 CMA Awards Nominations" to provide an overview of all the nominees. The 44th annual CMA Awards will take place in Nashville, airing on ABC on November 10th.
The CMA Awards' nominee announcement on "GMA" will be part of a big day of country music on ABC. Wednesday night the network will air "CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock." Tim McGraw will host the three-hour special featuring highlights from June's CMA Music Fest. "CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock" begins at 8:00 p.m. Eastern. |
