Paramore Headlines Honda Civic Tour
Paramore will front the 2010 Honda Civic Tour this summer. The group is taking part in the coast-to-coast "green" trek and will give away a band-customized Honda Civic Si Coupe, as is tradition. Singer Hayley Williams says, quote, "We're so stoked to be a part of the 2010 Honda Civic Tour. It's a big deal to have our name at the top of that bill. Not only does Honda bring great bands and their fans together every year to rock, but they're really carrying the banner and helping to make concerts environmentally friendly. We're looking forward to rocking out GREEN with you this summer." Joining Paramore on the tour will be Tegan & Sara. Tegan Quin says via the band's website, quote, "Sara [Quin] and I are so excited to announce that we will be on tour this summer/fall with Paramore. The dates will be part of the 2010 Honda Civic Tour. We first heard about Paramore a few years ago and have been huge fans ever since. Their new record 'Brand New Eyes' is one of our favorite releases of the year and we're already practicing our dance moves in preparation for the tour!"
The trek begins July 23rd in Raleigh, North Carolina and continues through 31 cities. Dates and venues will be announced shortly. Paramore fan club members will have access to a pre-sale March 22nd, with advance tickets also becoming available at www.HondaCivicTour.com the following day.
