Danny Gokey Lands Endorsement Deal With Eye Wear Company
Danny Gokey's need for corrective lenses has helped land him his first long-term endorsement deal. The singer has inked a two-year contract with the optical company Wisconsin Vision. Gokey notes that glasses are a prominent part of a person's image, and says his own sense of style has changed over the years.
Under the agreement Gokey will get an opportunity to try out a number of different frames. He's expected to wear as many as 60 different pairs of Wisconsin Vision glasses as part of the deal, which also includes in-store appearances and participation in the company's media campaigns. Gokey's relationship with the company dates back to his "American Idol" days. The Milwaukee native wore Wisconsin Vision lenses while he was on the show. Gokey's endorsement deal comes as he promotes his debut album, "My Best Days," which arrived in stores last week. |
