Top 10 Fall Movies 2009  
 
Back to school, the smell of apple pie and cold weather are all too near but the best thing about fall is what’s to come on the big screen. Fall blockbusters take you out of the cold and into the warm comfy movie theater along with your bag of popcorn.

Here’s our pick of Top Fall Movie to see:

1.) All About Steve – September 4
A blind date gone wrong, Mary Horowitz (Sandra Bullock) falls head over heels for Steve (Bradley Cooper) and follows him around the country. Rated PG-13.

2.) 9 – September 9
Produced in part by Tim Burton, based on Shane Acker’s Academy Award-nominated short film follows a group of nine stitch-punks as they fight their way against machines. Rated PG-13.

3.) Shutter Island – October 2
A Martin Scorsese film based on the 2003 novel by Dennis Lehane, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Two U.S. Deputy Marshals investigate the disappearance of a patient who had committed multiple murders.

4.) Toy Story 3D – October 2
First released in November 1995, Toy Story will be re-released in 3D this fall.

5.) Couples Retreat – October 9
What happens when four couples attend a retreat to revive their marriage? Craziness ensues, starring Jon Favreau, Vince Vaughan, Jason Bateman and Kristen Bell.

6.) Where the Wild Things Are – October 16
It’s a good chance when you were little your parents read Maurice Sendak’s classic children’s story, Where the Wild Things Are to you at night. Now Spike Jonze is bringing the story to life this fall where Max, a disobedient little boy is sent to bed without his supper, creates his own world--a forest inhabited by ferocious wild creatures that crown Max as their ruler.

7.) A Christmas Carol – November 6
Walt Disney World presents one of the most loved Christmas stories, A Christmas Carol starring Jim Carrey.

8.) 2012 – November 13
An epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors.

9.) The Twilight Saga: New Moon – November 20
Bella Swan is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love, Edward Cullen, but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black. Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and finds her loyalties tested.

10.) Sherlock Holmes – December 25
Detective Sherlock Holmes and his partner Watson engage in a battle of wits and brawn with a nemesis whose plot is a threat to all of England. Starring Rachel McAdams, Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law.
